I saw the first three episodes of Blue Gender, and so far I don't see anything really special about it. The first episode is mostly the main character gawking at the monsters and fighter, and having multiple flashbacks about the time before he went into chriogenic (sp?) freezing. The main reason why I bought the anime in the first place was because it looked like it had an interesting story. My guess is that the anime gets better as it goes on, but so far, it is off to a rather rough beginning.
