Story

The series is set after Japan's conquest by the Holy Britannian Empire on August 10, 2010, a.t.b. with their powerful new robot weapons, the Knightmare Frames, stripping Japan and its citizens of all rights and freedoms and renaming the country Area 11. The titular Lelouch is a Britannian prince who was disowned by his father, Emperor Charles Di Britannia, after his mother was murdered, and has vowed to kill his father, the Emperor, and destroy Britannia. He gains an ability through the mysterious power of the Geass, becoming the leader of the resistance movement to fulfill his two wishes: to seek revenge for his mother and to construct a world in which his beloved sister Nunnally can live happily.
This story has the part which was created by referencing Wikipedia, so the licence of GFDL is applied to this story.

The story itself is interesting.
But compared to the previous version, I think the quality got lower.
I cannot like Rurush nor Suzaku.
If main characters cannot be loved, it is hard to love the story itself.
Rurush killed many people but I think he should keep his policy to make his sister top priority.
It is fair to put more priority to the world but considering what he has done, I cannot like the change of his policy.
Anyway, compared to other works, the quality is high.
So I want to give "Good" to this title.

[What is good]
The general story is interesting.
The main character (Lelouch) is interesting.
Some of the secondary characters (Suzaku, C.C. and Kallen) had interesting developments.
One or two action scenes are well done, including the final battle.
Animation quality is good.
Music quality is good.
The ending is very good.

[What is bad]
The story pace is too rushed. It is unfortunate.
New characters (Rolo, Xingke) were used poorly.
Many characters did not have enough screen time.
Most of the action scenes were not interesting.

[Summary]
R2 was a normal anime, not the best or the worst. I hope people can appreciate the good things. It is necessary to criticize the bad, but I still continue to like the show.
