The entire dragonball,Z,GT series is the best series in anime as of today and will never be topped ever What makes it so great is all the different characters and attacks and how everyone gets stronger and all the new transformations Anyone who does not like dbz is out of their minds!!! This cartoon is so cool it has good jokes lots of action and ace music. Krillin, 17 and 18 are my fav they are funny and cool. dragonball and dbz in english or japanies are killer shows that are worth watching. Dbgt was a bit slow at first but when it got going when they returned to earth with the black star dragonballs it kicked butt.

Sorry, but this show has lost something over time. The original Dragon Ball was funny, and didn't take itself too seriously. There was a good solid plot, nice, if static, characters, and a nice balance of action and plot advancement. Now on DBZ, the show seems to have lost its spark.
The characters are now getting a bit annoying at times *cough*villains*cough*. We have one character being revived approximately 6 times. We have one fight spanning two seasons. We have the world being destroyed or nearly destroyed multiple times. It's getting really hard to give a dam* anymore. There are still some good moments. I found the Ancient Kai funny. I did like the Gohan/Piccolo relationship (not that way you pervs.) I even really do like the way Bu (sp?) wasn't actually evil. But my favorite was the supposed final death of Goku, which was really touching. It would have been so much more meaningful had he actually STAYED DEAD!
This is the major problem with the series. Everyone and everything is invincible. And if they ARE somehow blown away, all you have to do is collect the Dragon Balls and Poof! Good as new! This is called an overused plot device.
I imagine that to the right audience, the show is still greatly appealing, but for me it's lost its luster. I hope that somehow the trend can be turned around, but somehow, I don't think so.

What the heck was the story again? Where did it go? The characters have some great personallities but the art sucks. They all look too beefy. I just can't stand to look at them anymore. They should stop making episodes. There's just too much. I seriously hope that the kids who watch this on Toonami grow up to like better anime. Yes. I said little kids.
