I was very unimpressed by the anime. Slow, pointless, and severely lacking in the action department. Also, the lead tended to go on faux-intellectual tangents that left me feeling raw. Not something I would recommend, except perhaps as a sedative.

I loved the manga, and the anime (Eat-Man and Eat-Man 98) are a lot of fun too. The hero, Bolt Crank, is interesting to read about. ^_^ With a cool hero and pretty women, you can't get much better.
