Probably one of the best shoujo series out there. Combines all the typical themes of shoujo (love, friendship, maturity/growth, etc.), however I feel this series manages to take it to another level, bringing a major sense of reality in such a fictious setting (situation). Everything about this series is perfect and balanced out. The opening and ending themes are fantastic and very heartfelt. The songs are now more painful to listen to, due to the passing of Ms. Okazaki, Ritsuko (who sang much more brilliant and heartfelt songs during her time). I think many should see "Furuba" whenever they want to take time away from action/drama series.

Fruits Basket is the Best anime ive ever seen!!! it has drama romance comedy and and awsome story to go with it all!!

The character design is cool and the character developments are the best ive seen, you seem to even get attached to them...

The realationships are all so cute (fav one TohruxYuki) but sadly none of them really go, or just dont last... *sigh* o well

i cant even really piut how good this anime is, some parts you laughed hystericly, sum parts u... eerrr. sniffled cuz of the sadness and for the joy in it all....

If your looking for a good laugh but yet also very deep anime then i recomend this one!!!! get it now!!

This anime rules. I mean really. I went out, and on a recommendation from a friend, I bought it, and I thought it was worth every penny I paid for it. The characters are all flamboyant in thier own ways, and each one has a well espressed personality, even if a few are only shown three or four times. And the storyline is great. The curse is funny in it's own ways, and the way everyone goes about everything is funny as well. I'm telling you, it's a great anime that is really worth it. It is, right now, my second favorite anime, and that's saying a lot, considering the thousands of dollars I've spent on collecting anime DVDs and such.

excellent... if you havent seen this show GO WATCH IT. the characters are distinct and you watch them grow and you learn about them. You pretty much grow attached to these characters as if they were really your friends and you cared what happened to them. Very few animes get this right and this is a great example of what a perfect anime looks like.

This anime is sooo so...AMAZING (tolk me 5 minutes to find dat word ^^) Some parts of it soo kawaii(like when momiji turns into a rabbit), funny (shigure says: kyo-kun is a molester~ ^O^), and some parts are so sad it moved me to tears! When the show Hatori, Touru, and Momiji's past i couldn't stop sniffing *i won't say cry- my prides at stake^^* the music, the art both beatiful and soft (excluding the part where kagura kill kyo of course^^)the only thing wrong is the ending ~ i hope they continue * i will change "very good" to "best" then**

Currently my favourtie anime!!! This sounds weird, but I just LOVE the background music to this show. Like how, every character (and there's a whole lot of them!) has their own distinct music (eg. Ayame with the bagpipes! i have never heard bagpipes played like that before! and i actually like it!) This anime is adorable in general, every character in here are so KAWAII and good-looking! i can go on and on about why i absolutle LOVE this show.....
