This sounds weird, but I just LOVE the background music to this show. Like how, every character (and there's a whole lot of them!) has their own distinct music (eg. Ayame with the bagpipes! i have never heard bagpipes played like that before! and i actually like it!) I love kyou-kun, he's so kawaii and fun and i think he's the best fit for tohru, as yuki is kinda way too girly... i love shigure too he's such a funny guy, and hatori is an interesting character as well... Well the end is fine, though it may lead to another season.. I'm usually not big on shoujo series but this one has something for everybody. The characters are incredibly deep and interesting. The humor is wacky yet intelligent. The whole theme of the series about being your own person and not just another "fruit in a basket" is something I believe everyone needs to hear. I have a NEW obsession. The series comes complete with fascinating characters, mostly bishounen of course,and somehow the heroine doesn't annoy me.
