i love it!! Fushigi Yuugi is the best anime i've ever seen in my life!!! when my friends told me about the story of Fushigi Yuugi, i got really excited and i really wanna watch it..

it's a great story..it can make u cry(i cried a lot when Nuriko died) and laugh(i laugh a lot while watching the anime!) i watch it everyday...if i miss one episode i could even DIE!! and one more thing.. I LOVE YOU TAMAHOME, NURIKO, HOTOHORI, TASUKI, AMIBOSHI...i hate u nakago!=)

beautiful..romantic..wonderful na no da!! another masterpiece by watase yuu sensei in stead of ayashi no ceres..i love tamahome & tasuki, d main funny guys in d anime, nuriko,chichiri&hotohori r d same way too..can't imagine d great emperor of china went mad with tasuki coz of his stupid idea n such a fool to get the memory stone of taka @ tamahome out from hori-sama's prince boushin..it is really fun!i've collected it's tv series (52 episodes), it's OVA (1st & 2nd) & the eikoden (FY's novel in anime)

Fushigi Yuugi is a very beautiful anime/manga. It's not like your standard boy meets girl - boy falls for girl - happy ending anime. It's got a lot of trials for all the characters and really sucks you into it.

On the plus side, Hotohori and Tatara are hot as all getout. ^_^

Watch it and read it. It's wonderful.

I love Fushigi Yuugi. It's da bomb, ya know. Ohmigosh , Taka a.k.a. Tamahome and Tasuki are da bomb and is sooooooooooooooooooooo HOT! They kick @$$. Anyways, Miaka and Tamahome are so cute together. Man, I F***ing Hate Nakago. Even if Amiboshi is in the Seiyu side, he is still cute. I would recommend you to read the book or to watch it. Tell me When Vol. 10 comes out. I need to read it. I lov Fushigi Yuugi!!! (no seriously ask my wallet ^^) It's one of those anime/manga you want to watch/read again and again! Fushigi Yuugi can make you laugh so hard you'll make people in the one mile radius stare 0.o, or make you cry along wit the charactors in the book (my bro thought i was crazy..^^U). The art work is the best ever (Nuriko looks goood male or female)!

An EXCELLENT choice for a romantic shoujo. Tamahome and Miaka go together like bread and butter, and the supporting cast are too funny for words (at times.) My appearance and my personality is so much like Miaka it's a bit unnerving! The only gripe I really have is the animation in the animated version. Shoddy framerates, reused cels... some of my greatest pet peeves. Yet the seiyuu and the music make up for the lack of eye-candy... oh, and thankfully the bishounen still are as nummy as they were in the manga. >D

Excellent story with wonderful characters, but abysmally terrible animation and repetitive writing. This series should have either been several episodes shorter or had better screenwriters. Still, while FY isn't a classic, that doesn't mean you should feel ashamed to like it.

yet i live in an erea that never shows it so i downloaded the first 4 episodes and i got hooked man dont know what it is that gets me so into it but i can assure you i aint minding it one bit lol

This anime was the best i've ever seen!!! holds it right up there with neon genesis and weiss. it has me laughing my head off at the slightest thing, and yet i was bawling my eyes out when Nuriko died. *sniffle* he was my fav character!!! as if you couldn't tell, and if you can't, then you must not be a big fan^-^ and tthe ending crdits for episode 33 were so perfect with chika sakamoto's voice making it totally sad... and the lyrics really hit home!! in fact, i 'm listening to kaze no uta right now... ja matta, nuriko-sama!!!

I loved Fushigi Yuugi the moment I started the tape and watched the opening. It is by far the best anime I have seen so far! Nuriko is the best! He is so funny and sweet and hot and....ah I just love him! Anyway back to the show..the characters are so well developed and likeable its great. Also there is many different themes mixed into it such as romance comedy action dram/tragedy. I cry ever time I watch one of the Suzaku seven's deaths and at the last episode even when Nuriko came BACK from the dead LOL. It is wonderful! There has not been an anime that I have seen that mixes so many different emotions into the viewer. It is definatly a great anime! Thats not to say it is for everyone especially people who do not like the whole crybaby-girl turned hero such as Miaka and if you do not like gushy romance than this anime is DEFINATLY not for you because it focuses ALOT on the romance. But if you are like me and don't mind/or you like those things about it than you know what I am saying when I say it is the best ever! Plus have you noticed all the hot guys!? :Swoon: Nuriko ah he is a hottie especially once he goes all manly (or as manly as he'll ever be that is) he one hot guy!

This anime is one of the better one's that I've seen. Sadly, somewhere in the middle of the series you forget what the plot was and the end isn't very good as well. The OVA's are worthless. It's better if you don't spend your money on them. If your as much of a FY fan as I am though, then I suggest that you buy this just to see Nuriko again.
