The anime could either be one that made you cry or something that gave u an overwhelming sense of emotion. For the endings for wolf's rain and escaflowne were pretty rough, the last two-three episodes of wolf's rain were the craziest. Gundam Seed in parts almost made me cry, and Onegai Teacher had to been one of the craziest ones I have seen

RK is marvelous!its my favorite anime..... ken-san is really KAWAII!!!OH, & he is hot too!! I envy Miss Kaoru & im jealous at the same time!
Just one thing, why does it have to end Kenshin dead in the 2nd OAV??why?why???Its a grief for us RK OTAKUs!!Anyway, Ken lives in our memories because he's the best!! he's awesome with those sword techniques and for that i adore hi sensei for imparting those techniques to him..

Rurouni Kenshin is the best ever anime I ever saw.Excellent work by Nobuhiru Watsuki.Kenshin is too cool with his sword and the best part is he is'nt your normal choclate boy.He has killed a lot of people before but now he wants to help the oppressed.

I found this movie very good. The character in this movie really like living creature. They express their feeling of not killing people but to protect the citizen. Although Kenshin Himura is a samurai, he still have his own principal of not killing friends and foe. This movie also have love story and this make it more interesting. Thanks A lot and keep up the good work.

Kenshin is sooo beautiful. Character is so well designed of the changing human traits and instincts. The plot is also very fine. Ofcourse it has been created by one of the best manga artists. The music is lovely and soothing and goes well according to the setting. Overall! I LURVE RUROUNI KENSHIN!!!!*drools over his orange head*

I've been a "Kenshin" fan for the longest time...and still would be if it were not for the depressing "Seisou-hen" OVAs (I don't want to talk about it). The TV series is marvelous; all the character and plot developments, the training, the history, the setting, music...it's all just so well-done! The animation is a bit on the okay side (considering that this is such a long series, it's excusable) but there are very beautiful scenes, especially during the "Kyoto-hen" parts. Overall, I really love this series (though I think the manga is much better) and I am angry that Watsuki-sensei allowed "Seisou-hen" to be developed.

Rurouni Kenshin is the best anime ever created in the history of forever. Its romantic, action-pack, and lets not forget well drawn. I've never loved an anime more than I do this one, but I can't find the movies anywhere(darn it!). And its also a little known fact that Kenshin Himura did live in the Meiji Era of Japan there was just a slight name change in the anime(at least that's what The Anime Encyclipida says). I just love it so much I've decided to move to Japan when I'm older and study buto-jutsu(Japanese fencing). I want to be a samurai so, but its a shame the show is sad, though. I really feel bad for Kenshin. I mean just take a look at his childhood -- orphaned at nine?! That's really gotta suck, but still...the darkness of it just makes it even better than before. And even though I never saw the whole series I really feel connected to it. Did I metion Kaoru Kamiya is my role-model? Oh, and Kenshin is just adorable!

I just LOOVE Ruouni Kenshin!!!!! it is THE best anime EVER! i havent seen the OVAs yet... *grrr...* and i havent seen the movie... *waah!* but... o well! i still LOVE Rurouni Kenshin! *huggles Kenshin* ^_~x kenshin is mine... heheheh... i feel soo sorry for him, cause of Kaoru... *evil miss kaoru!!* i mean, the way that she shows she likes him is by bouncing things off the poor guy's head!!!well, back to the point. Samurai X or Ruroni Kenshin, depending on where you live, is one of the better anime series out there. The animation is lovely for the budget given it, using symbolism and brief parts of scenes to convey the feeling of action without the expensive animation process. The storyline is gripping, though sometimes a bit fragmented into many side stories. However, the minor story arcs release tension and go into greater depth about the characters' personalities. And speaking of the characters, the characterization is some of the best I have seen. Even the villains often have a back story, letting you see their point as well. It is seldom that I felt frustrated by the 'immortal villain' as often plauges some other anime series(es?). The music is also lovely, though it seems it would be a bit out of place in Meji Era Japan you don't seem to notice. My biggest gripe is that the English dubbing can't really get Kenshin's speech patterns correct, but kudos for trying. This is definately something you might want to keep an eye out for, and maybe even purchase the DVDs.
A word of caution though, I found the OVA's to be too disparate from the series to enjoy them. Overall they were depressing and I personally did not enjoy the animation or story. I would suggest skipping these.

In my opinion, someone cannot look hot and cute at the same time, but Kenshin does it! ^-^; Anyway, i like how there area good combination of serious and humourous moments in the series. I just adore those fight scenes.... <3

Samurai X (Rurouni Kenshin Tsuiokuhen OVA SERIES) is serious wonderful Anime which exceeded original Manga greatly.
A completely different character design from TV SERIES of ANIME.
Serious story deployment.
However, there is thing insufficient by being sad.
