I was surprised by emotional work and enjoyed that the main character was the dog. I also appreciated the courage and fervor of the dog.

[What is good]
Characters. Bravery of Gin, Daisuke, and Riki are attractive. And, I like that it is a comic/show centered around the adventures (or war effort?) of dogs. There are even skillful ninja dogs that reflect human counterparts rather well.

I also liked music. The OP is hot and unforgettable, and ED is lovely!

Casting is elite. Chika Sakamoto is the strong Daisuke, Banjo Ginga feels like an undaunting handsome father that makes Riki, Eiko Hisamura makes Gin much like a hot-blooded man, Hideyuki Tanaka as Ben is lovely and determined friend, etc.

[What is bad]
Animal cruelty of Daisuke's grandfather and there may be scenes considered too violent. The pace of animation may feel a little slow at the start, and sometimes the battles look a little ugly (weird maneuvers and ugly lines) I can't really think of much else for bad points.

[Summary]
A story is simple and warm. I enjoyed it and it was refreshing to me for an old series.
