I jut finished watching this. I loved it. It contained a multitude of valuable lessons, teaching the true way of the peaceful human heart.
It is a compelling drama of a boy named Shu who is accidently tossed far into a future wasteland filled with suffering and anguish underneath the evil ruler Honsa's boot. It is a story of triumph over death and dispair. An excellent film that will leave you in tears. Approx. 345 min.

Now and Then, Here and There is a compelling story.
Great character development, not only for the 'good guys,' but also for the 'bad guys.' You really feel as though you get to know the characters. The character designs by Atsushi Ohizumi are absolutely awesome! Very cool style.
The music sets the tone nicely for the series.
If you want a 'fun' anime, this is not it. Now and Then, Here and There is a serious look at some very mature issues.
This is a must see for anyone that likes anime. You will experience many different emotions watching it. ^_^
