i had never picked up an anime book at all an for some reason picked this one up. an now im hooked. iv gotten up to episode 15 an now am getting them off the internet because no other anime series is as good. an even though im being called at TOTAL geek by all my friends i cant stop!

In Japan, this animated cartoon was broadcast at midnight several years ago.
I saw this animated cartoon for the time being.
However, I did not think that this animated cartoon was a masterpiece.
Still, I think that this animated cartoon is not trash.
Therefore, this is not a bad animated cartoon.

I don't know why, but lots of people think it's another ripoff from Rurouni Kenshin. I think not, but I'm still not a big fan of all the bad guys turning into demons and such... I think I would stick to the manga...

I liked this series...I thought the art was beautiful, the voice acting was on par, it had exciting animation.... in summation , if you are even halfway interested in feudal samuri culture, you should be interested in this, allthough there wasn't quite enough raw action for me to make this truly the best...

Kyo is greater animes for me.So Cool!! I really love this story and I don't want to finish. Long ago I never read cartoon that have more spirit, powerful. I want to thank you the writer Kamijyo Akimine You So Cool!

Samurai Deeper Kyo is one of my favorite animes to watch!In truth, I only bought the first D.V.D. "Demon Awakens" because I was into Rurouni Kenshin and the samurai time period, but once I watched the first episode, I was hooked!

I recommend to any to try the first episode and if it isn't what you enjoy to watch in an anime then don't bother watching the second, lol!

I'm highly interested in Sengoku Jidai. Therefore, a series that stars Sanada Yukimura and begins at Sekigahara has got to be interesting, right?

Well, WRONG.

Sanada Yukimura is the *only* interesting thing about this show. The main character (a nebbish who is merged with a fearsome demonic warrior) comes off virtually as a "magical boy" for lack of a better term. Yuya is fan service, end of story. Essentially, it's monster-of-the-day mayhem that adds nothing to the wealth of pop culture that references that historical period.

I think I'll stick with rereading Musashi and Taiko and leave this show alone.

Personally I like Samuri Deeper Kyo. Problem is all my friends hate it. We fight every week on wether to watch it or not. While it may put me to sleep every few episode... I still Love it! It is very beautifully made. The characters are awesome. It tends to get a little confusing now and then but i recomend for all to at least try a few episodes.

Samurai Deeper Kyo is amazing!! The combination of action, and suspense is great. Add to that, a whole lot of bishounen, sword fights, and secret identities, and that's a hellofa a ahow. I've seen up to the 17th episode. I've heard people think it's like Kenshin, but it really isn't. Kenshin vowed never to kill again. Kyo lacks the guilt to ever make that vow. Yuya is a cool charecter. And trust me when I say it's all worth it to see Yukimura-san, Kyoshiro, Kyo, and Benitora. Not to mention the adorableness that is Sasuke. What are you reading this for?!?! Go watch it!!
