Great Anime! I wish I could exchange my place with Tenchi.
Tenchi Muyo OVA is masterpiece and have best plot out of whole Tenchi Series. Tenchi Universe is Alternative world where all characters meets again in different way.
in Tenchi Muyo i like the most the fact that Sasami will be beautiful Tsunami and ryo-ohki can transform to a human-like form girl.
each of Tenchi Movies have uniqie plot where Tenchi focus his attention on one girl.
in movie 1 his mother Achika,
in movie 2 his daughter,
in movie 3 his grandfather's lover Haruna.
Japanede dubbing is ideal, but english actors not match to their characters

I fell in love with this series almost immediately when I first saw it on Toonami!! The voicing is wonderful and the rivalry between Princess Ayeka and Ryoko the Space Pirate is just priceless!
However.... *Everything gets all dark.* ..... Tenchi in Tokyo was the biggest downside of the Tenchi saga... Not only did the animation changed dramatically, but Sakuya annoyed me half to death.. Worse than Miaka screaming TAMAHOME over and over again....

Pheew! Where to start? The moment I saw the Tenchi Propaganda I flipped. It seeme great--the swords, the classical glowing insignia on the character's forehead. Then, when I saw the girls jumping around him--I think I laughed. What an original plot! I fell in love with the show the minute I saw Tenchi and Ryoko's lopsided relationship, Mihoshi and Kiyone's 'partnership', Ayaka's oldmaidenness, and Sasami's sweetness. And let us not forget--Washu. Tenchi Muyo is an interesting departure from the classical romantic/adventurous tales of anime. Being moreof a comedy it centers around the life of a young man after suddenly (and quite impossibly) being glomped by 6 girls. The series has (I believe) 3 seasons (and an OVA, maybe a movie) in which the characters meet and interact in different ways. Though the third season was quite confusing, and although the plot is rather hard to follow, watching around for those silly comments, situation, and sheer hysteria is surely worth it. The animation varies from Season to season, but is rated at an overal B+, the plot, as little as there is, is interesting, and the show itself is EXTREMELY addictive. Love it.

Tenchi Muyo is the best anime I ever saw. That and Cardcaptors lol. My favorite is Sasami and Kiyone, they need Tenchi!!

The Tenchi Muyou Series is excellent! I love anime due to the great art work! The Tenchi Muyou series not only had excellent mats but it also actually had a plot to it! The plot was actually good enough were even my wife like the show! She will not admit it in front of other people but she will not miss it! Now! Can anyone tell me what happened to Tenchi in Tokyo, art work not so good, plot ok, sort of, could be better! We want more Tenchi! Heard their not doing it any more!

I usually don't like anime involving romance, but the tenchi series kick ass, probably because of Ryoko and Washu.

Time for Tenchi. Tenchi is great. I was really confused at first about that whole Ryoko and Tenchi sword thing. I was also trying to figure out why this princess loved her brother Yosho in a more than brotherly way. Was I watching anime or Jerry Springer? Then I learned the story and all, athough Tenchi Universe is completely different from Muyo. Ayeka, Ryoko, Kione, Mihoshi, and even Sasami and Washu are all babes! I just don't understand what a goof like Tenchi has that I don't to get girls chasing him like that. I was upset to find that Sakuya in Tenchi in Tokyo wasn't real. As for Tenchi, if I was him I would have babies running all over that Masaki Shrine. (Ha Ha!) Great anime saga! The great comedy makes up for the lack of fighting action. Ayeka and Ryoko is enough.

I love Tenchi Muyo. What else could you ask for in an anime. Humor, romance, action. Tenchi Muyo has everything. Though I agree with some others that there could have been more battles, everythings cool. And I love--Hark, what was that word?--LOVE Ryoko. Heck, that made a spin from Sasami, they should do one for Ryoko.

Tenchi Muyo also kicks ass like the anime shows like dbz and gw. first time saw tenchi muyo, tenchi universe, and tenchi in tokyo... i was alil confoozed at first on how they keep meeting over and over again......hehe..... my fave would have to be sasami.. me and my frienz have this thing at school on who is who. which ends up me being sasami (yea!!!!! and tsunami) my friend brandy is washu (the genius) sorry i can't spell lately...... *(^O^)*

First came Tenchi Muyo!/OAV. I could not but well up with tears of joy at this beautiful masterpiece! Incredible art, sound, story, and much more made this anime and instant sucess.
Then came Tenchi Universe/Original Series. This was also stunningly good, though the animation was not quite as wonderful, the story was very involving, and added a nice new character, Special Detective Kione. It was also very funny!
Then came Tenchi in Tokyo. Though it was comparable to other animes, the story and art just couldn't match up to that of Muyo and Universe. Humorous, but rather shabby.
This is Tenchi Muyo. Beautiful and amazingly good, aside from the Tenchi in Tokyo part, but I'm sure we can forgive them for that!
