this is the best move i have seen it alot of times and loved it each time. it had great gragics and the music blends. I would love to see it agen and agen and naver get tiyerd of it

Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust was the best I've seen since Akira and Perfect Blue. Not only did Hunter D start wearing better colors, but the animation changed wonderfully. My favorite part was when Hunter D caught the arrow in the beginning. It had a great plot and touching love story.. The end was also a favorite of mine. I almost forgot that dunpeils don't age..

This movie was a disappointment to me. I had heard so much hype about the movie and had high hopes of seeing a really great action packed goth anime. When I saw it, I was sorta like..."That's it?" It really didn't impress me in the least.

Although I usually don't like this kind of animation, this movie was an exception. The animation was forgotten as soon as D started kicking some butt!

the sequel is the best I have ever seen, considering it was a sequel. Best animation, and D came back hotter then ever. Bloodlust needless to say was the best anime I have seen.

The very first anime I have ever seen, and is still one of the best today!! New animation has come along way since this movie was made, but this is definately the anime by which all others should be judged. The best anime film ever!!!

A milestone in Anime art. On the surface you'll notice sucky character design and thin plot. But if you look deeper, ooohhh there's so much more to it. For how old it is, character design is exceptional, the plot could have been better, but if you know what goes on outside of the movie, you won't need much of a plot. Can't wait for the remake. This movie and "Akira" are pretty much the ones that got me into anime. "Sugoi"

Doesn't live up to all the hype out there about it. I had heard wonderful things about it and was disappointed, sorry. Sucky character design, shallow characters, paper thin plot.

Great concept and BEAUTIFUL animation. The original version's sound and production could have been a little less snippy, but I can't complain much. I also liked the story.

i loved this anime d is the coolest character ever in an anime...it has a good plot and it is not stupid like some anime's i have seen

This is by far one of my favorite anime. I really ejoyed the great pictures, some where breathtaking. D is a real cool character with out a doubt!

The animation is pretty good but that counts daughter has got a really big ugly forhead!!!!!! Other then that I loved that plot.

This was a very good anime, considering the time in which it was made middle 1980's, I agree with the other comment, the origin of the hand was never clear, but then again, I havent seen the subtitled version yet.

I'd say that it was good, they weren't quite clear on the origin of D's "hand".
