Its simply the best anime that was ever made! It made me a ''anime fan'' and a better drawer.

Escaflowne is the best anime EVER!! Not so much funny as it is serious but it's great fun to make fun of Allen and yell at Hitomi for her stupidity! Dilandau Albatou...Ahhh. That boy should be worshipped like a god (i'm sure he'd like that). THE ENDING SUCKS!! ... that's all I can say really. Don't want to give it away. WATCH IT!! BUY IT!! LOVE IT!!

I really liked this anime, though all I've seen are the nine episodes ran by Fox Kids. I've heard that the dubbing was bad, but I guess that because I can't really compare it with the original (my mom won't let me by subs online, and there isn't a store near me where I can buy them),I didn't mind.

I have to say, Escaflowne is one of the best! (not the dubbies tho! :P~) Great plot and character development ;)! But i hate the ending!!! whaa!!!! Hitomi and Van should be together *sniff sniff*

Hmmm... no me gusto mucho.. lo he visto 2 veces y encuentro que los dibujos no son muy atractivos, y el plot tampoco... pero supongo que hay que seguir la serie para dar una opinion mas acertada. En todo caso, a mi en lo personal no me gusta demasiado...!

ESCAFLOWNE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One of my TOP 10 FAVORITES! Some of the best animation I've seen so far, even though their noses are kinda'... Funny! -^.^-
I didn't like Millerna, or Folken (He looked funky... And reminded me of the guy from Vamp Hunter D: Bloodlust..).
Hitomi was awesome (It's not every day you find an anime character who uses Tarot cards and pendulums!), Merle DEFINATELY needed a bigger part! Dilandau was the coolest psycho genki pyromaniac villain EVER (I would've given him a different voice, though.. Like I said, Genki. Genki. From Monster Rancher?? XD)

First of all, for all you murderous girls and guys who loved Escaflowne, yes,I agree--Fox should die for taking it off the air. On another note, Tenkuu No Escaflowne follows somewhat of a cliche plot (guy and girl who fail to realize they love each other)but manages to spruce it up dramatically. It interminges new and old theories of another 'dimension', tarot, life on other planets, and the (I would say) somewhat medieval era (I mean...they duel with swords...) Though not the best, the animation is very eye-catching, and the whole underlayered plot of Van and Folken's relationship is quite interesting. Overall...Van's voice is dreamy (*ahem* Kirby Morrow...) the animation is great, the plot awesome and rarely seen in other animes, and has an adequate mix of both shoujo and shounen vices.

Escaflowne looks so cool. i especially LOVE the plot and how it's drawn. This is one of the few animes that has swirled shoujo and shonen anime together perfectly, the perfect combination. (most people refer Escaflowne as a shoujo anime, but u still got those giant fighting robots.)
This is the only reason i am glad to live in Canada, b/c a tv station (YTV) actually boardcasts the series, unlike Fox Kids.

Hey all, you have got to see this amazing series! I thought I was buying an inocent little tape..and here I am with the whole series! I recommend the normal series, rather than the fox series. I was so deeply hooked on it...it tattered with my emmotions. OK, enough corn. Anyways, it is touching, and heart breaking at times, worth every penny! (or $160 as I paid for the series all together) My bad...

I didn't get a chance to see the whole series since Fox kids cut it(Ggrrrrr...). Well, I only saw a couple of episodes but i got hooked after only one episode! What I saw was GREAT and I hope maybe I'll get some money so I can buy the rest of the series.

Escaflowne is one of the best animes I've seen. The plot was great and I luv the characters. Especially Van-sama. And for all you anime fans who haven't seen this anime I think you should go and watch it. It's really really good. And some of the characters are really hot ^_^!!
