Cheesy, over-the-top characters? Check. Woefully bad animation? Check. A swordsman who throws his katana at a helicopter? Check. Let's face it, folks. This is a pretty-boy-band vehicle. Knight Hunters) is my favorite anime. It's animation was absolutely horrible, at times you can forget what the plot is, the characters needed some more actual background, and for God's sake: More SCHWARZ! There wasn't enough of them! And then at the end, I had to actually cry. The end was so bad that it made me cry. It made it look like Weiss was dead, and for about five minutes, I actually believed they were. I'm still thinking that Schwarz is dead, but how is it possible? If Weiss had survived, then why couldn't Schwarz? They were clearly stronger than Weiss (i.e. Farfarello bashing Ken's head on a wall without Ken fighting back.) The characters themselves were beautiful. I loved how the looked. Congrats to the artists, but the writers... Eee... They shouldn't have even had a story. Even after all of this I'm still going to say that it was one of the best. *nods* It was probably the characters...
