I haven't seen the anime yet, but I have read the first five mangas and I LOVE it!! Go yaoi!!! *gives a rabid fangirl EEEEEE! and glomps yaoi bishounen* I don't like the slightly droopy eyes, but that's my only peev. The story is great, and had my cracking up at times. (Now all of my friends and I walk up to unsuspecting people and say, "lookit!") Definetely, definetely good, both for die-hard yaoi fans and those just looking for a good romance story with lots of laughs and action!

Enjoyable story that is often compared to being a shounen ai version of "Lethal Weapon". Granted, they're not particularly good detectives, but that's not the point. The humor and the characters are what to concentrate on here. Recommended.

This has got to be one of the most cutest yaoi mangas out there! I love Ryo and Dee. Although Dee can be a little agressive. tee hee. It's a great story and the vocie actors in both japanese and english are very well done. espically english. all yaoi fans need to watch and anyone that like cop stories and little kids pissing off and very short tempered Dee.

Fake is cute. Though the character designs bothered me at times, the voice acting was incredible and I was easily drawn into the story. C'mon, Seki Tomokazu's in it! ^_^; The quality of the animation was also very good. The story is a sort of murder mystery/romance combination. Even though the ending was predictable and the mystery slightly cliched (man killing people of same race as those that murdered his daughter), it deals with issues such as racial profiling and homosexuality and is worth it for that. A very good anime definitely worth seeing at least once.

just saw a write up from an animerica issue saying that this one's a love story, yaoi tho.
but if i saw this, i would definitely raise my previous evaluation to very good.
