I have a vampire fetish, so obviously I love this series to death. I can't say "Hellsing" is perfect though because there are many sketchy details and plotlines that were omitted from the manga which made the episodes seem very unbalanced and out of order. The animation is very good at some parts and bad at others. The characters are probably the biggest puzzlers besides the story. I love how the characters are portrayed in the anime...they are much different from the manga. The only character I prefer to have been a bit different would be Integral since she is just too annoying in the series. I am thankful that Seras is a much serious character in the anime because she is very irritating in the manga. Anyway, the relationship each of the characters have with each other is very odd because they all have a very love-hate relationship, but I think this is what makes the series enjoyable to watch (besides the action and the amazing Arucard). I hope Hirano-sensei continues with his really intriguing manga story and hopefully, a second season of "Hellsing" would be developed then.

nice animation and characters but the story is a bit wanting
