The main thing that this anime has going for it is the storyline. I have never been a real fan of western style animation, and this anime definately pushes that envelope. (It looked too much like AstroBoy.) The robot design, however, was very well done. As I've said, the plot is really this anime's strong point.

Spectacular use of c.g.i.
beautifully animated, very colorful
although the character designs are rather unorthodox by terms of normal amime (resembling western style animation) its soul is defenitely that of classic japanimation. The story line is excellent, with lots of heart. Very sci-fi including robotic andriods, glorious machines and magnificently beautiful landscapes. All in all, a wonderful movie. An intriquite feast for the eye, heart and soul. Approx. 110 min.
