They just re-released this game on playstation disc with super NES graphics! How freaking cool is that?! I remember playing it when I was like ten years old or something on the original Nintendo, and I've been hooked on the Final Fantasy series ever since. It's really bringing back a lot of fond memories. The new version is called "Final Fantasy Origins", and it comes with FF1 & FF2 (both great games). I strongly suggest buying it if you like quality old school games.
