FFVI has a huge cast of interesting characters with unique personalities and abilities, a sprawling, intense storyline, and one of the coolest antagonists in any RPG to date, even now (Kefka).

Really, what's not to like here?

This is an exaple of wonderful gameplay mechanics; epic storytelling,eqsuisite music,character developement, and a game to look to for gaming exellence. Graphics do not make a game. This game proves that, with it's longstanding appeal, and that is what makes this good game great. This game is a milestone to be looked to for inspiration by programmers generations to come. A work of true genius. If you haven't played this stop reading and go buy it!

Compared to the final fantasy VII, the graphic is quite old style.
I cannot go back to FFVI or older one anymore, but this was a quite interesting game in old times.
This game is the first title of the Final Fantasy series which I played.

This game was so cool when I played it on S NES way back when, and it's still just as cool when I play it now on "Final Fantasy Anthology" (PS1). It's a great game that revolutionized the graphics technology of its time.
