The movie describing gifted painter Picasso's 晩年.
Although this movie was started from Paris under the Nazi Germany occupation in 1943 under World War II, the situation of the German army of those days was reproduced faithfully.
However, it was thought slightly unnatural that the officer of the German army was talking with Picasso in English.
Although it may be that is not wonderful even if the German soldier talks in English or has got into [ a U.S.
tank ] on the movie made in the United States ..........................
Although there is a scene from which the German army gets into [ the Sherman tank which attached the mark of an iron cross ], and is returning the town under occupation in triumph on another movie, it was seen and sense of incongruity was felt considerably, since most tanks of the German army of those days which can actually work cannot be found, it may be unavoidable one.
There was especially no scene that seems to be unnatural except that, as for the German army of this movie, the German soldier speaks English.
Although an allied force's landing operations were started and the allied force came to Paris this time, their figure was also reproduced faithfully.
That scene was rather impressive although there was a scene on which fire is released and burned by the crowd at 軍旗 of Nazi Germany in Paris released from the Nazis.
However, only the beginning of a movie has a deep military color, and after war ends, it goes into main subject still more.
