Originally, Saiyuki is a Chinese folktale.
And in Japan, Saiyuki is the very famous folktale which everyone gets to know.
Saiyuki was drama-ized at the end of the 1970s. And the drama hit.
To similar, I watched the TV drama of the Saiyuki.
And, I felt the TV drama of the Saiyuki interesting.
Saiyuki was drama-ized again in 2006.
However, the reputation of the drama of this new Saiyuki is bad.
Many televiewers claim that TV drama of this new Saiyuki is trash.
I also watched the drama of this new Saiyuki on television.
Actually, the drama of this new Saiyuki is not comparatively interesting.
The first reason. Cast of new Saiyuki lacks the charm compared with Cast of old Saiyuki.
Especially, leading part's Shingo Katori is an actor who lacks the acting ability.
His yell is very jarring.
The 2nd reason. The scenario of this new Saiyuki is comparatively bad.
The scenario of this new Saiyuki is coarse in general.
However, I do not conclude that the drama of this new Saiyuki is trash.
In this new Saiyuki, the hero kills nobody.
In this new Saiyuki, there is few homicide scene.
In this new Saiyuki, violent expressions are comparatively suppressed.
I think that it is splendid.
